Also, I've been an event DJ for ten years (digital style, but I love the vinyl!). I work with many top DJs, and can easily put together a package that fits your event.

Field Producer of all coverage of the Soul Bowl BMX and skateboard events at the 2007 US Open of Surfing. This three-camera shoot was for TV broadcast and the on-site JumboTron show. (Fusion Entertainment/ERay Motion Media).

I started announcing mountain bike events at the 1986 Swatch World Championships, and have been involved in the sport since the no-shock hardtail Kamikaze-downhill days. So many memories—John Tomac, Tinker Juarez, Tara Llanes winning at Winter X, and lots more. I’m presently working with the epic crew from Team Big Bear on the National Mountain Bike Series.

Since competing in the 1995 USASA Nationals, where I achieved two podium finishes and was third overall, I have served as an announcer/DJ and awards ceremony host at almost every Nationals since. Hanging out with riders from all over the country from ages five to over eighty-five is a gas!

I was originally hired as a Sports Announcer for mountain biking at the Winter X Games at Snow Summit. (Trivia: What year was that?) Then I moved into an MC and Host position for both the Winter and Summer X Games, pairing up with many of the legends of action sports for interviews, JumboTron features, and lots of crowd hype-up!

Highlights have included Tony Hawk’s 900, Shaun Palmer winning the Ultracross, and hanging with all you passionate people (thanks for all the love).

I volunteered to co-host the Boarding for Breast Cancer events at Sierra-At-Tahoe, working with the Fuse Marketing crew in pre-event planning, event production, and post production. I was the announcer for all the live snowboard events and served as co-host on the music stage. (I love BBC, because my mom is a cancer survivor!)

One of my most memorable jobs was announcing the Olympic halfpipe competition at Park City—this is the most intense event on the planet as far as sports production goes. The highlight for me was when it sunk in that there was an American sweep!

During the pre-Olympic test events, I was the Venue Producer for alpine skiing, and it went very well. For the real deal, however, they wanted me on the mic!
