International field to compete on Dollar Mountain, ID in the Jeep King of the Mountain Skier-cross finals on Saturday.

Thursday was a crazy weather day in Sun Valley, where scattered snow, then fog, then a dash of wind made for challenging conditions in the qualifiers.

Swede Magdalena Jonsson put up the fastest time of the day, followed by Canadian ripper Anik Demers Wild and Australian Jenny Owens.

Tour points leader Tomas Kraus (CZE) edged out Canada’s Chris DelBosco and Errol Kerr (USA). Only 5 hundredths of a second separated the top three in this tough day on the Mountain.

The field is set for the final 32 men and 8 ladies who will race for the cash and the keys to the 2008 Jeep.
